Giving my friend $1800.00....should I or not...?

I strongly believe that you shouldn't give him the money. You seem very nice and care a lot about your friend. But I do think he is taking advantage of you. You do so much for him and he doesn't do anything for you. He calls you dramatic! I know you already promised, but it is your money -- you can do what you want with it. He needs to learn how to be more independent. So, yeah, I don't think you should give him the money.
