O.K. Yahoo briefcase is going away .. but can I still keep an unlimited amount of emails sitting in my In-Box?

Yahoo Q&A refers to "Mail in the Web 2.0 world". What does that refer to? Why can I only recieve 4 to 5 pictures from friends emails and then above that they don't get thru'?
