Any CAT lovers, vet techs, veterinarians out there?

I got my kitten tested for Feline Leukemia this past sunday at a mobile clinic...She's not at risk per se, but I needed to get her tested because we are adopting another cat from a rescue that required it. The clinic told me that they would either call me by today confirming that the results were negative or that I would get a letter if it was positive by this friday. Well I didn't get a call and I didn't realize that until after the clinic was closed....now I'm freaking out!!! Do you think they just forgot??? I was told that the FeLV can't be spread by the kittens mom, but I just read that it could. My kitten's mom was a stray...do you think she is positive???
