"Blessed are the meek"; what does this mean to you?

to me, it's a means of social control by trying to teach people not to stand up for themselves. the meek may inherit the earth, but the war they stood by and allowed to rage will have destroyed it. and in the meantime, they've lived with whatever the bold left for them to sc up. if life were a buffet, the meek would be living of the burnt crust at the bottom of the tuna cerole.
