Thanksgiving Question?

It seems like if his mother is more than willing to accommodate his kosher diet, then he should spend the day celebrating Thanksgiving with her. I think it is nice that she is trying to do the right thing for him and it seems that it would be insulting to not go when she is going out of her way to please him.
