LOOKING 4 SUPRA KILLER?

long story short i have two friends. they both ask me for advice on a good car they can tune up. I recommend a Toyota Supra to one, and he loves the idea and is on his way. The other friend and now wants me to find a car(cause he knows nothing about cars but wants to have the fastest one around) that will put up a good fight against a supra....I have heard of a 2000 mustang Saleen putting up a good fight but thats all i could come up with.....Just looking for some possible choices to go against a supra
