Harold&Kumar Escape from Guantanamo bay question?

In Harold and Kumar escape from Guantanamo Bay the crazy white guy opens a can of g pop and tips it out in front of all the black people. All the black people are awwing in disgust why? I guess its probly an American thing because i have never even heard of g pop why do all the black people get so offended?
