Aren’t mortgages senseless?

a necessary evil for the majority of us. and also a real pain in the backside. the key is not to bite off more than you can chew and purchase something you can afford.

Banks accepting payments on closed accounts?

i had a bank account forceably closed, but i still had my direct deposits going into the account. i told payroll that i needed my actual paychecks, but they said it'd be 2 weeks before the system recognized it, so 2 weekly paychecks still went in, after the account was closed. i called the bank manager and asked him if he had recieved the monies, and he initially denied it, then conveniently found the record of the payment being recieved. he said that they were accepted as payment on the closed account, but last i checked, banks can't tell you what to pay with your money, or accept money for an account that has been closed. i mean, where would the money go if the account didn't exist due to closure? i don't get it.....also, the ending balance of the account and the amount from the collection agency is the same, so there is no 'credit' to my account. what can i do?

Girl's only please. Where to find a dress? Any tips for going to a formal?

In December I'm going to go to a formal with a bunch of my girlfriends. I don't expect to dance with any guys bc most guys at my home school co-op wont ask a girl to dance with them. But I still want to look nice. Where can I find a somewhat modest prom dress that will fit a 12 year old girl? It would be nice if I can get it under $50. Links would be helpful. Any idea's to what other stuff to wear, how to do my hair, nails, makeup, etc..? I am 5ft 3in and 95lb. I have long, very curly brown hair. I'm also going to get ready with a bunch of other girls so they can probably do my hair. I want a hairdo that won't come undone if I'm dancing. i want comfortable shoes, preferably flats. My favorite color is light blues. I want the dress to go down to at least right above my knees. thanks!

Oh my, that is very creepy, I wouldn't take it too harshly, just respond to him whenever he talks, and react violently if he becomes provocative. Don't act rude until you have the evidence to act rude, so far you're imagining things before it happens.

Tattoo ointments??

i got a tattoo on saturday while at a festival. while there, the artist and his wife let me use some sun lotions on it. one was spf 50 baby lotion, and one was spf 15 hawian tropic i think. i dont have either of those, and im not sure what i can use on it or not. he wasnt really clear on it, except that the hawian tropic stuff is really good. i was going to get some last night on my way home, but i was too tired. and i cant get any yet either. i was wondring what else i could use on it for today...i know i cant use vaselene, but can i use like, aloe vera...or...can i use the pintments and liquid stuff i use when i get a cut?? like hydgrogen peroxcide(sp)?? any advice would be great...but if ur gunna take the time to answer, pls give me the name of sumthing that worked well for you or sum1 you know rather than telling me to call my artist.

New 08 Dodge Charger Question...?

I am looking into buying an a brand new 08 Dodge Charger or Avenger. Anyone here have either one of these cars? Which one do you like more and why? I am a female and fairly young. Both of the cars appeal to me, however I like the Charger more because it has better room. But, the Avenger is front wheel drive while the Charger is rear drive which gets bad traction in snow and rain. Which car do you like more, and why? Thanks! =)
